Mylo Freeman

Mylo Freeman has created over 60 picture books. Her first book, Potty!, received the prize for best toddler book of the year. She is best known for her series about the black princess Arabella, which has been published in over ten countries. In 2020, she created the picture book for the Dutch National Children’s Book Week, Twins!. Mylo’s books fill a much needed niche: inclusive and diverse picture books! In 2020, she published On Women and Handbags, followed in 2021 by On Women and Jewellery. These non-fiction titles for slightly older readers, each feature fifity inspiring women. Mylo also teaches workshops, gives lectures and creates musical theatre shows about her books.
